Question about gamerscore on Live

I just got xbox live and have been having fun. The only thing is for my xbox live gamertag is says I have no gamerpoints. I have the same name for my online and offline name. Will I have to earn the points on the xbox live account? Thank you.

Yes, you'll have to earn the points on your live account, for them to count there, since you now have two accounts. What you earn on your offline account will never count towards your online account, even if the names are "identical."

What would have been better, would have been to migrate your offline account into an online one. While you could still do that, you won't be able to use the same name, since that name is now "taken" by your online account. Also, you'd have to pay for Gold again on your 2nd account, if you converted it to online.

The more games you have, the less of an amazement higher scores are.

Of course, the guy with the 120,000+ gamerscore is probably envied by all, regardless of his gamesave abuse.

If anyone ever wants to bring up there gamerscore a good 5,000, you could just go rent a few of those sports games from the first year of the 360. Those are easy to get 1000/1000. FuzionFrenzy2 is good as well.

He's amazing with 120,000+ gamerscore because it's 100% legit. There have been people with more than 200,000....but they used gamesaves.

I have a few really easy games from luanc in my points, King Kong, Madden.
Some were really hard IMO, like getting 1000 in Kameo. Most of my gamerscore points were aquired early in the 360's days. My gamerscore has barely moved since VP, I'm either playing that, or now the H3 Beta.

GS is really only useful to show what games you and someone else are intrested in playing, and for a game to game comparison.

Some stupid cheat thing people do to get all 1000GS points basicly just for loading the game in there 360. ya, the 120 K guy is insane!
