Question about DSL speed.

Will a connection around 796kbps/128kbps hold Xbox live? I was just wanting to know if that speed of connection would work. Thank you. another thing the connection is verizon and in kilobits

I think it will work, though might be slow. If you try to do voice chats at the same time, it will probably cause lag in your games.

You will not know for sure unless you try.

Might do but as GHOST said you won't know untill you try because i have 22 megabyte broadband so xbox live isn't a problem for me and never has been so i am not sure but if it does and you seem to get lag then maybe you should try another server and if that still lags you like hell then i reccommend either no xbox live or get a better service provider :)

No need to switch providers. Just upgrade to a faster tier. I have the 3m/768k Verizon DSL service ($30/month) which has always worked well for Xbox Live.

The thing is that is the best package I can get. I would love to have live and was just curious if you guys thought that would work. Thank you for your help and hopefully if will work for me.
