Shop won't sell me anything!

I am trying to get to the next level and I need to give the beggar some wool. I have a gooba, alternate color, but I don't think that's the issue. I cannot buy anything in the shop -- everything is sold out -- and I need to buy a factory for wool. I tried selling houses, I tried selling pinatas, but it doesn't seem to be affected by capacity. Is there anything anyone can do for me? I can't advance in the game without the factory! Thanks!

One of the reasons why buildings are sold out (http://pinataisland.info/viva/Did_you_know#tab=Pocket_Paradise), is if you're not a high enough level to build them.

You're possibly overlooking other ways to level up (http://pinataisland.info/viva/Frequently_Asked_Questions#FAQ-PocketParadise-NextLevel).

It happened to me as well :) i was trying to get a fourhead by romancing the twingersnaps but i needed a twingersnap house to romance them and i found out i wasnt a high enough level :D
