So I know a new DSi XL is out and I thought I should share my thoughts;
IT IS JUST A BIGGER DSI. :mad::mad:
That's it, nothing new, nothing special. It's just larger. What they should of done is added a GBA slot or an extra camera. So my opinion is don't buy it, unless you have problems with the smaller screen, then trade in your DSi and a few games you hate to get one.

Lol...you are funny. It is just a bigger DSi, hence the XL part of the name. However some things are upgrades a smidge. I bought one and I am very pleased with it. It is nice to have a much bigger screen.

I agree -- I'm totally against the DSiXL. Granted, I was against the DSi, as well, but the DSi is just... I really, really hate it.
My idiot boyfriend's got one and I just can't fathom how anyone would want it, unless they were suffering from eye strain or carpal tunnel or something (which is understandable, in that case I could see buying one).
It's so big and bulky -- it sort of defeats the purpose of a handheld, in a way. It's too large to stow in your pocket and play covertly...
Well, whatever. It could potentially have its uses, but really, all I see is another way for Nintendo to milk its product for more than it's worth.

I completely agree with your entire post. I have DSi n it's just fine for me.

but still, i wouldn't get one, and if we did i wouldn't be playing. it defeats the purpose of being pocket size, as Leighton_Darko said.

I want a DSi with Gameboy advance slot i have so many game's at GBA.
But if i got DSi i'll still keep my DS lite.

I don't think it is strange. Laptops are much bigger than DSi's yet no one says anything about them, and before you say "They have always been that way" that is the point. They are big because they are more efficient that way, in general. I believe that the DSi XL's are the same. Some don't like them because they want to stick their DS in their pocket, well fine, but there are a lot of us out there that don't care if they are bigger and like it if they are. Especially when we can see more of the game and not feel like our hands have to hold the DS like a pair of tweezers.

In my opinion DSiXL isn't worth your money. If Nintendo were spending their time making the DS smaller(Which, frankly, I'm fine with), what would be the point of making it huge? The DSi is the Nintendo DS pinnacle (Not counting the 3DS) and the XL is not the DS revolution. That is all. ;)

I still use my black DS Lite to this day. I always use it because I have an extremely large game collection on the GBA, and I've become an addict on the GBA Pokemon games.

Im a big guy, and the DS and DSi just never fit in my hands right, ended up getting cramps from holdign it wierd. I got the 25th aniv' DSiXL.

However i do agree if you have a dsi then the dsi XL is a waiste of $$$, I jumped from the DS to the dsiXL
