Samuel slithered as fast as he could, sure that he put roughly a mile between him and the others. ... Give or take a few feet. He gave a small chuckle, knowing he had won that short battle. But, his moment of victory was short-lived, as he tripped and fell over a small ledge. "Grrr... Dumb geography of the..." He mumbled to himself, along with some other words, while wiping himself of any dirt, till something caught his eye. He had kicked up some dirt and pebbles when he fell, but they were... stuck in mid-air. But how was that possible? Either Sir. Issac Newtgat's laws were lies, or the fragile fabric of time taking inexplicable damage. And Samuel was putting his money on the lator. As much as he wanted to think about how this was possible, he quickly turned back around, slithering faster to make up for the minute he lost, still bearing a grin on his face, with his fangs sticking out.
