I know this isn't suppossed to be in this topic area but i just wanted to get this to everyone because this seems to be where like everyone is at. Not to sound picky but, we really really need to start treating other people on this site with some respect I read a message from spartan and feralkitty and other moderators. If you read this from Spartan's post that we need to stop blantley bashing in other peoples talk and stuff, because this is an all ages site so we need to act like it is.Like i said i dont want to sound all picky and stuff but we really gotta watch it i wouldn't be suprised if the moderators started to warn you guys if they havn't already i have been warned by a moderator and im working on cutting back my language and i think all of us should on this site.

back on topic I think that these forums are already family friendly and a very cheerful place to be. However I do applaud your desire to improve. In the yankees.com forum there is constant bashing from either Yankee fan to Yankee fan or Yankee fan to some guy who wants to piss us off. They are either arguing what someone should do/ should've done or who's better, etc. They curse like crazy there and there is always a flame war. This forum barely ever has a flame war, and there is not that much bad language or spam. I think this is one of the best forums I've been to in terms of family friendliness.

i said some stuff that i really cant reapeat in front of you guys cuz i dont want to get the moderators talking to me bout this stuff again i wasnt sing profanity but just like gosh uhhhhhhhhh i cant even describe it i just dont want some little kid on here getting a bad influence so im trying to do everything i can after being told to watch it by a mod.to try and make this even more family friendly and for less bashing and crashing.... only thing i could think of

No, here, damn is not considered a swear word, per se. Its very much like Fergy's "Oh, fudge!".
However, I've known a few forums to actually ban the word anyway, due to the religious tones it can sometimes carry.
