Hi everyone,
I lost my Ipod recently so I really need a new music player.. Then I thought, "Why not just buy a PSP? I can listen to music, watch videos, and even play games! Plus it's only $150!"
Soon after I realized the PSP Go would be released very soon.. I am not sure which one to buy.. I actually like the regular PSP a lot more than the Go because the screen is larger, but I also dislike the fact that all of my friends will have the fresh gadget and I will be the loser with the old device :p
I blame myself for being so late.. I never thought of buying a PSP before I lost my Ipod :p
Should I wait for the Go? or just buy the PSP? or just buy an Ipod :p ?
Please offer some opinions :) Thank You!

If you already have a gaming system, there is not really much of a need for a PSP - because minus the games feature, its pretty much the same as an MP3 player only more expensive. Just get another IPod or get a Zune instead. If you just want the games, then a DS is cheaper anyway. Also, the DSI is more expensive than a DS, DS lite, or PSP, but I think it has more features than a PSP (not sure if PSP has internet or not). That's just my opinion, you can get whatever you want.

I know you haven't posted asking for other options, but i would suggest getting a Cowon S9. They come in 8, 16, & 32GB versions and are excellent. They can play lossless audio(FLAC being the most known) and can play AAC, MP3, OGG Vorbis, and others. They also have an IAMOLED Screen, and can play AVI along with other file formats. Unlike the iPod and other MP3 players.
It also has a radio, so you can listen to radio if you're in the area, although it doesn't work perfectly. In addition, it's touch screen, and has a Flash add-on/based UI. This allows people to add things they built in Flash, changed the UI, and play Flash games.

Id just buy a new ipod or a phone with music.
If you lose the phone, just call yourself and you will find it!

My suggestion? DSi. You can play your music on it and as an added bonus you can play around with it aswell. It does have Internet access and I think the PSP Go is more similar to the PSP than the DSi is to the DS Lite. :)

My advice is to get a mobile with a great music player and wi-fi (i.e. Walkman,Xpress music)
Or you could always get a dsi, which has a great web browser (no youtube though )

I used to have a PSP myself and I know that they are a lot of fun and have most of the options an Ipod does for music. The newer PSP versions are also very convenient for music use as well. I say go for the PSP.

I would say, go with an iPod Touch.
