Viva Pinata: One of the World's Most Under Appreciated TV Shows

Viva Pinata is the most under appreciated TV show I know.

We know that it was canceled in U.S.A, but in Canada, it's been treated like the world's worst TV show.

It started with it being moved from it's normal 5:30 PM time with all the popular shows to a 10:00 AM with all the lousy, canceled-for-15-years shows.

Then I saw it on an ad for "preschool shows" on the channel.

We need to return the TV to it's former glory or no one on Earth may never hear from Hudson, Fergy, Paulie, and Franklin again.

I honestly can't believe they cancelled it. Viva Pinata was a great show, and it should be treated that way. Unfortunately it was cancelled where I am, and they replaced it with some crummy old shows. >:[

Yeah, I guess since they are releasing on DVD they still haven't forgotten about it......

Well, let's face it, video games into shows don't hold up well. A perfect example of this is the Legend of Zelda, it's not good - when you take it seriously.

Viva Pinata can sort of be considered as an exception, but it's still based off a video game, making it a not-too-good-kind-of-show.

(And before you start flaming me, everyone has the right to their own opinion, and I just want to express mine without turning everyone on this forum against me.)

yeah but with no vp on they start bringing back old crummy shows! like the old old old scooby-doo! but since they bring back old shows from the past, in a couple of years vp will be back! all is well it ends well!

It was cancelled in britian a couple of months ago. They should make a third season! What are 4kids doing anyway? No new Pinata or Pokemon. Well u can download two episodes on LIVE.

Hey all, I am new here. And I hope to enjoy it here. Anyway, I remember watching the show, oh... maybe 2-3 years ago, and it was a decent show. Now, the show not making enough money could have been one reason it was canceled, but another reason is how long it could take to make one episode. Obviously the show is 3D rendered, and really well for a TV show. So, I would assume it takes them about a month or so to make 1-2 episodes. This same thing happened to another VERY GOOD TV show called Invasion. It ran from September 21, 2005 – May 17, 2006 on ABC, then WB. I have the entire series on DVD, picked it up for $6.00. Yeah, I saw the first two episodes back before it came out and I really liked it. It is what caused me to get into the game but I didn't have cable then so I never got into the show. Maybe I will pick them up some day soon and watch them...

I did dislike the show when it goed here i Norwegian but when it ended and tried too watch it a Youtube i can't belive i did :(

I'm Canadian too and on YTV they show it at 12:55 PM as well as earlier around I think 6:30
But luckily YTV only shows newer shows, the oldest being... Spongebob and Pokemon.

Someone should create a petition to bring back Viva Piñata because I have honestly never seen a show like it (except maybe this show called "Almost Naked Animals" which reminds me of the beloved show) and with so much color, zest, animals, and music, it has come to be my most favorite show in all the world! And I hate when people cancel shows like this because once people (besides you guys) forget about it, the characters associated with the show are never heard from again. That is why I am dreaming of making a show called "Wacky Animals" with Viva Piñata as my inspiration (I will make a thread about this soon). So we must work together to bring the show back on air and/or at least get Rare to produce more episodes! LONG LIVE THE PIÑATAS!
