I know how Photoshop is considered THE image editor, but just wanted to let you guys know about another program that is similar called Paint .NET. You need .NET framework though, but I use it plus a .vtf plugin so I can edit texture files of Source engine games.

I use paint .NET for my photos that are simple. Photoshop is more for advanced stuff.

Yeah, I still kinda wish I had photoshop though for the advanced stuff. I used Paint .NET for the Jellyjam, though...

I was using it today. It's limited, but it is free and only 1.6MB!

A user here a loooong time ago used Paint.NET, but Photoshop is better and GIMP is even better.
