How to romance red (etc) flutterscotches?

I have romanced and master romanced my white flutterscotches. I know how to turn them red/blue/yellow/green. I'm working on my red flutterscotches first and I have tried to romance/master romance them (to get a tick in the achievements list) but the red ones keep having WHITE babies and I just don't get any tick for the red master romanced box.

Any ideas what to do or where I have gone wrong please? I have tried the Wiki but not found anything. Also I have tried the trick of just feeding lots of white ones poppies to create red ones (like you could achieve the "master romancer" by tricking it for the Xbox) but that makes no difference either.

uhmmm... I think u need to romance them until is says master romancer on the top screen...thats wat i do.
And u cant trick the VP: pocket paradise to become master romancer without romancin them.

All flutterscotches when you romance them make white babies, no matter what.

You should have gotten the romancer award for the red one's if you've romanced them. Romance them 3 times for master romancer.
