The score on the main list that's referred to is the best score ever, while the leaderboards (and that icon under your avatar) only counts scores in the last 7 days.

I don't remember where I learned this, but I think it's generally accepted that the optimal strategy for Space Invaders, which probably would have been common knowledge to my dad's generation, is to shoot at the leading edge - if they're moving right, shoot at the right-most column until it's gone, then the next one, and if they're moving left, shoot at the left-most column. This way, they'll take forever to come lower. Don't succumb to the more obvious strategy of doing the lowest row and then the next lowest row and so on.

There's not a leaderboard, just a single all-time high, and it's on the main arcade index page. In any case, I'm pretty sure you have the highest score that's not mine :-)
