Chewnicorn romance.plz help

my chewnicorns won't romance. all their requirments are fullfilled and they are happy enough ,on the top screen it says'ready to romance'. but when i direct them to eachother the top screen says romancing in progress untill they get near eachother when it switches back to ready to romance. i had romanced another set of chewnicorns succsesfully but i dont know what i did.

does any one else have a simelir problem?

One possibility is that they can't manage to find a way to get inside their house. Is anything blocking the way? Try moving the house, or selling anything new nearby that might be obstructing the path.
