yellow light??

My wii console always used to have a reddy orange light when it was turned off, and a bright green light when it was on, but now i'm never sure if its turned on or off, because it constantly has this yellow light, when i'm playing on it, and when i think i've turned it off?...

My question = Is my wii permanently on, or is it just a faulty light...i'm just wondering incase there are some people who's wii's have done this before aswell, and might know why?

its just the light that is on when u dont hold the power button on the console nd just press it real quick trust me itz no big deal

I'd go with pimpinduck's idea. Hold the power button instead of just tapping it.
