XP to be extinct in early 2008

I saw a short clip on the news section of Yahoo video and saw how Microsoft plans to stop making XP for computers starting early 2008.

I worry about that MS might stop giving computers with XP any software updates.

At some point far down the road, software updates will stop, but I doubt you have to worry about it for a few years yet. While Microsoft will stop selling XP, they still have to offer support and fixes until its support period runs out. I believe we get a 5-year period where you'll still get security fixes.
