Hey,

Haven't posted here for a while but finally got myself a copy of TiP, and have been enjoying it very much. I thought it was just going to be a bit of an expansion pack to the original but there are quite a few differences which is making it quite a better game I think (although having to be on the lookout for Pester or listen for his footsteps can be a bit tricky.. he's already bashed a few of my pinatas but now I just give him $500.. oh and the Ruffians keep messing my gardens. The cutlass isn't in stock at Lotties yet unfortunately). I have already got a bunch of twin wildcard Quackberries which is great! :)

Now to my question I've also obtained a Vision Camera, and I know you can scan in cards found online from it but is there a way of physically purchasing them does anyone know? I seem to remember in a few demos shown off there was a whole set of cards that came in a green box with Langston on the front if I remember right. I'd really like a set of those! :) I tried looking on ebay but couldn't find anything. Anyone know how to come by these cards now, or were they only used as one off demos by Microsoft and Rare?

There are no Pinata Vision cards for sale. They are only available online.

The green packs of cards were produced in a very small number for us (Rare) to give away when we presented the game at video game shows or press events. There is also a pack of 'Team cards' that were produced with a pinata card for each member of the development team. Again, these were produced in small numbers and we've given a load away in the past. Perhaps when I'm back at work next week I'll see what we've got left and perhaps we can give some more away :)

As jimmcq has said, Rare/Microsoft has not actually produced any cards to sell. You get a couple in the manual, a dozen or so in the Prima guide and then the rest are online. You can print them off if you like, but they can be scanned directly from your PC screen as well. You can also make and upload your own to share via the photo tool in the game and the official website.

Ah.. okay. Thanks for the response! :) I wasn't sure if any had been made for general purchase or not somewhat like the cards Nintendo made for the E Reader. It is good that you can get them for free easily online though. I've scanned a few already, though it somewhat feels like cheating so I think I'll now only scan the limited and special occasion cards (like the ones made for the Banjo and KI series and for special holidays, etc) rather than just the regular pinatas.
