Give it a few more years. and Mac's will rule us all ...Muwhahah DIE BILL GATES DIE! ^^...I hate that man with a passion...He refuses to allow Canadians to get in on any of the contests Americans have...and all the goodies they have!

PC is better for office work, official business, etc.

Mac is better for the average person, looking for music, movies, art, entertainment, etc.

hah ayeah that pretty much sums up any arguement. i just think pc's are kind of boring. id prefer to do something on word mac than on word for windows.

I agree with Ryan44, i like pc's because there's just some games that are great on pc's that wouldn't transfer well to consoles, but on the other hand... Macs are just aesthetically beautiful and easy to use

yeah i dont understand why people say "macs are confusing" i love the object dock, it makes for easy browsing :D

I chose PC just because that's what I've used forever. When my fiancee first moved in with me, she had a Mac. It was really hard for me to learn to use, but it was extremely beautiful and easy when I got used to it. The only thing I didn't like is that I couldn't play most of my games on it, so I had to get another PC. Soon after she got rid of her Mac for a PC, and I haven't even seen a Mac since. :P

i disagree with this as i work in a mac shop lol
i think thay the avrage person will buy a pc to download a few tunes of the net send a few emails to family and probaly play games. Of course there are hardcore gamers out there who would argue the fact that there are more custom parts for pc's e,g graphics cards, mother bords but it is posible to add after market parts or mods to the mac people just dont explore the options.

Most of the macs i work with come from offices , graphic desiners, video editors, architects which is why i disagre with Tauron sorry. I think macs are more of the comersial side of things as very few people are home users of macs
i would think that most home users have come in to contact somewhere along the line eg school, collage or even at the work place and fallen in love with the platform :D

i my self have always been facinated with computers from an early age the spectrum or maby it was the comodor i dont remember lol ,The Amega , and then my First home pc and work expiriance in highschool which lead me to a family friend who runs the mac shop i now work at. and that my friends is where i learnt that the mac is a much superio platform i mean look at vista thats practicaly mac OSX 10.4 Tiger lol

oh well sorry for the rant just saw this thread and have to have a look lol

Its ok to disagree with me, because I only use PCs as well.

That was actually what some teacher told me last year, who I didn't like. But everyone agreed with it so that why I said it :P

I used to like PCs. I was a bit skeptical on the switch to a Mac, but it was one of the best choices I made. I got it for Christmas and I love it! Even after the effects wear off from seeing all the cool effects just about every program has, it is still amazing. One of the best things is the simplicity. If you think something is going to work one way, do it and it probably will. There are a ton of features that Macs have the PCs don't and vice versa, but utlimately I think the Macs features are more useful. Everyone says PCs are more useful with business and stuff, but I have Office 04 or 06 (can't remember) installed on my Mac and I personally think it is better than the Office on my parents' computers with Vista. Macs can create networks with Windows users too and they can transfer files with incredible ease. In my eyes, Macs are just better, but from the poll results it looks like the forum is 50-50 on this one.

I definitely love the simplicity of the Mac but considering I use my computer for a lot of gaming my desktop is a PC. However, I do intend to purchase a Macbook for school due to its ease of use and reliability. So...I'm all for both.

If Macs had the gaming capacity that PCs have, then I'd join you, Cloud7654, in being a Mac user--that's the only reason I still prefer PCs to Macs, in everything else, the Mac is superior to the PC.

Steve Jobs should release a Gaming Mac, to rival all Gaming PCs.

the main reason macs LOOK so powerful is because they under-rate their units. If the processor REALLY is a 3.0, they will call it a 2.4, this way they look faster.

kind of like putting a V6 logo on a Mustang Cobra. "Boy, you V6 is SUPER fast! I want one too!"

trust me, I am Mac all the way, but now that they are using the Intel Chip, the truth is out.

The new iMacs have a 2.8 Duo core, but its really a 3.4. ::wink::

I HATE MACS.

uck. They are slow- I always get the spinning wheel of doom, their mouse is a disgusting insult to something that is SUPPOSED to move a cursor, and They have next to NO games (and by games I don't mean solitaire... wait, do they even have that?)

the only thing that is good about mac is that they have good 3rd party software (like garageband)

Oh and actually yes we would have VP... rare made it. It would probably be a crapload better if microsoft didn't exist because nintendo would have published it. and nintendo is god.

Trust me, Mac is superior. You won't be living off PC games your whole life will you? Skyei, Mac's aren't slow, at all. There the best for using Photoshop and other things like that. There superior for buisness, and downloading things. What's there to hate?

EDIT: So the guy who created the( No truth is told) earth is a lowly actor? And the Messiah is just the game system we use for entertainment?:p
