Check out this blog post where a piņata from a Japanese garden is exchanged with a piņata from an American garden: http://www.arne360.com/category/games/viva-pinata/

Yes, I know you can do this yourself just by changing the language/region of your console, but I'd like to see someone start a collection of piņata that actually originate in many different countries with names (and perhaps accessories?) that are appropriate for that country.

So, who is going to host our international garden (and post pics here of course)?

This is a very cool idea! I might think about being an international pinata trader. That would be cool if people each had a different language/place to cover... like someone having a French garden and someone having a German garden. I might take this in to consideration(possiply being the French Pinata Trader!)

Several of us have started "Visitor Center" gardens where we keep pinata with labels from people on our friend lists. This would just be an expansion on that idea. Sounds interesting.

That's pretty cool. I don't speak enough of any other language to do this so oh well, lol.

Someone could have a french garden or a german garden with the English version of the game, right? The keyboard that is normally available has a lot of special characters that make that possible. Having a garden full of pinatas with Japanese names, even though you would have no idea what they meant, would be cooler because you'd have to get someone else to name them for you :-)

Anybody have any ideas as to how I could get a Japanese pinata like this? I don't have any international friends on my list, and really don't know where to find them. I'd send anything for basically anything

There is an opportunity here for someone to become an international piņata broker! :)

Ya, a french pinata would be practically the same, it's not like we use a different alphabet or anything :p

To break the language barrier we could develop our own system of smilies to get our message across.
