View Full Version : sold/eaten animals: do new ones come back?

Hello everyone I got my game several days now and I have a question. Sometimes my garden gets a bit too crowded. When I sell animals such als all my whirlms, when I think I don't 'need' them for other animals, does that give problems later on? And do animals come back later on?
For instance I had 2 mousemallows, they were eaten bij the snakes. Later on the snakes were eaten themselves. But there never came 'new' mousemallows, even though I met the requirements. New snakes showed up but thet could not become a resident because there were no mousemallows. Is it so that when a pinata has lived in ther garden and is sold or eaten, a new one doen'st come and you have to buy them?
I had 1 quackberry once but after it was eaten bij the lickatoad new ones never came back..

it's just bad luck... every Pinata come back if you have their requirement. Some may take time to come back some may come back right away. The only exception is the Jeli

If a pinata gets eaten or smashed by Dastardos you can get another of that species by asking Gretchen Fetchem to hunt one. But you can still get a species to appear and make it resident yourself.

After you sell a pinata or one dies, you have to meet the requirements again. For every new visitor you have to meet their requirements regardless of whether or not you've had that species previously. Of course, if it is a wild pinata who continues to visit to your garden and does a little bit of what it needs to do to become a resident each time, that's different. But don't count on it always being the same pretztail, buzzenge, etc. However, I'm lucky enough to have had almost all of the pinatas with those HUGE list of requirements to be the one's to come back again and again until they are a resident. That even happened with a chippo! So to be on the safe side, have more thatn what's necessary for the resident or visit requirements. For example, if you are trying to get a dragumfly, don't just have the needed amount of bullrushes, have more, and don't plant them all at the same time so that when the old ones die the new ones will still be there. Also, for those pinatas who need items that can go bad, only put out one item at a time since some pinatas tend to be slower eaters than others, especially if they have a huge requirement list. Sometimes a certain species won't come into your garden if you have a species it is afraid of in your garden even if its requirements are made. But I think it says that in the requirements....And if you still can't get them to appear, visit, or reside, buy one from Gretchen's if you have enough chocolate coins. Also, if a certain species has been killed in your garden, that species will be reluctant to come back for a while. However, from my experience (which has been only a week and a day....), Badgesicles do not apply. I just kept smashing them and smashing them because they kept getting into fights with my syrupents, but they kept coming back! But some species are more rare than others, and come around less even if you have their requirements. Out of curiousity (which killed th kittyfloss....couldn't help it...) how long have you been playing and what level are you? Like I said, I've only had it a week and a day, and I'm already level 9! Might be because I can't put it down....My game says I've already accumulated over 40 hours of gameplay. Hope my info helped you.
