tips for garden layouts?

anybody know of a site that has some suggestions for the best ways to maximise a garden's potential? screenshots would be awesome, but any info would be useful.
i don't mean the best way to attract certain pinatas, i mean how to utilise the space for planting/houses/ponds etc without having everything messy and on top of eachother. my garden's just not cutting it and being new to the game i'm finding it a bit confusing lol

My advice is it's entirely up to you. Don't worry, your garden size will increase in time.
