For answers to common wishing well questions, see this post (http://pinataisland.info/forum/showthread.php?p=248505#post248505).

This is the cheapest item in the game (as in cheating wise). If you put 1000 ccs into it sometimes 10000 ccs come out. And if you put lanterns o' loot around it....lets just say.....:eek:x2!!!

I searched the Wiki and didn't find anything. I looked in the past 5 pages of threads, didn't find anything. How do you unlock it? If you have to unlock the credits, how do you unlock the credits?

To unlock the credits: Make a Garden called Piņata People: With the special N and the caps.

Well its not a big deal, if people want to play fair they just don't do it :P.

Try and explain to me have that guy had 190 million within the first 24 hours of the game and was level 195?

That's the one I'd love to know.

Some people had the game long before us, like jimmcq and bigsheep and i pressume everyone else that is high up on the leader boards.

Some of them are likely as high as they are by using the cards. If you use a card for a pinata you haven't previously unlocked, it counts towards the resident awards, which will give you experience toward leveling up. Also, since the cards can be used repeatedly, it allows you to sell expensive card based pinatas for extra cash. Needless to say, a really valuable pinata can easily give you 7,000-8,000 chocolate coins. I would venture to say some people high on the boards use that tactic to get their money and level up faster. Also, once you have a pinata unlocked, you can pay gretchen to catch more. Once you have 7 in your garden at one time, you get the master romancer award for that pinata even if you didn't breed them. However, you still need to breed them to get the romancing reward. Finally, if you have 3 pinatas of the same species, you can feed them what you need to in order to change them into variants, which give you more awards. All awards count toward your levels.

I am not sure that this is the ONLY way to get a wishing well... but first you have to open a new garden, called Pinata People (with an accented n)...
that action will then open the credits. You destroy everything in sight (in order to read the credits) and in so doing you will gain access to a Wishing Well at Costolots.
The Wishing Well costs very little, in fact, and will produce far more money than a mine ever will (but from a mine comes a Dragonache egg....)
A mine costs $16,500 (I even had one that mysteriously disappeared, so I had to pay twice). Then there are the workers to hire... and the mine refuse to clean up constantly - otherwise it consumes space in the garden's tally.
I am not impressed with Mines on a purely economic basis; there are much better ways to make money in the game.
But this is presumably the info you requested...

there is a legit way, unblock all of the blocked pinatas. Professor Pester will give you a notice saying how hes mad at you for foiling his plans, and then the game tells you the credits are unlocked. This has been stated several times in numerous threads.

there are two ways
unlock all of the barriers and then do the credits, destroying what pester tells you.
or
create a garden called Pinata People (with the accent on the n) and then do the credits and destruction :)

Hi everyone, and welcome to this thread on how to get the Wishing Well in Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise.

In this thread I will tell you the two known ways on how to get the Wishing Well, how much it costs, items that come out of it and so on.

How to get the Wishing Well

I too was asking how you get the Wishing Well until earlier today, when somebody told me how to get it, so I decided to share with people who are wondering the same thing.

Method One

This is the method I used and I can guarantee works. Basically make a new garden called 'Pinata People' (with the ~ accent on top of the 'N'). You will now be able to unlock the credits, so go to them.

Now you'll get a message from Professor Pester and you have to smash all the Pinata's open to get to the end. While you smash open the Pinata's I suggest you also smash open the objects littered around the Garden because you unlock extra accessories in-game.

After you've smashed open every Pinata, you'll get a message from Leafos saying the Wishing Well has been unlocked in Lottie's shop (Cost-a-lot).

Method Two

This is the second method I've heard about but haven't put into the test yet. What you need to do is Smash down all the Barriers blocking off Pinatas that Professor Pester has put up.

The credits should apparently be unlocked. If they are, then follow the credit instructions from Method One.

After Unlocking the Wishing Well...

Congratulations! You've unlocked the best money-maker in the game. Go to Cost-a-lot's and look under the 'Garden Items' menu.

Now you should find the Wishing Well, which costs about 413 CC.

Place it in your Garden (and I suggest to place a Lantern-o-Loot next to the Wishing Well) and then press 'A' to throw money into it.

Ivor Bargian will start talking to you, asking you to throw in some coins, so throw in around 7,000-9,998 CC and you should get about 20-21,000 CC back.

Be warned however, as sometimes you won't make money from the Well, but keep going and you'll make it back up.

Why not to throw in 9,999 CC just yet...

If you throw in 9,999 CC you'll get an Amber Stone, which is a requirement of a Chocodolus. You won't get money with the stone, so don't put in 9,999 CC until you can afford to put atleast 7,000 back in to make it back.
__________

Questions and Answers

Can you sell the Amber Stone?
No, as you can only get 1 Amber Stone per game (therefore one Chocodolus per game)

How much do you recommend putting in to the Well each time?
I recommend you put in between 8,000-9,998 CC in per time for the best results.

What other items do you get out of the Wishing Well?
So far, I know you can get the following items;

- Red Gem
- Green Gem
- Blue Gem
- Purple Gem
- Yellow Gem

- Carrot Seed
- Turnip Seed

- Chocolate Coins

If you know anymore items that you get from the Wishing Well then please tell me. Thanks

How much is each Chocolate Coin worth from the Well?
It Varies, but it's around 1.000-3,000 CC per coin.

How much can you make an hour by using the Wishing Well ALONG with the Lantern-o-Loot?
ALOT of money. I started with 7,000 CC (yes, I was poor) and after 10 minutes I had about 200,000-240,000 CC, so you would probably make about 1,000,000-1,100,000 CC an hour (but it's all down to luck).
__________

Well, thats all I can think of so far. I will add some more tomorrow or the day after. Please leave feedback and I hope this helped someone.

my husband had similar results as well and he had just started the game. we found that if you spent ALL of your coins (if you had less than 9999) then it would pay well. if you tried to be cheap, it repaid in kind. so i guess it's always best to throw in the max amount allowable. at least, that's the theory i'm working on.

I don't think you need to spend that much. Everytime I throw in 1,000 I always several 2,500 coins back... and I've never seen it return more by throwing in more than 1,000

It's odd to be honest. I threw in 9,998 CC and got 4,000 CC back, yet I throw another 9,999 in and I get about 30,000 CC back.

I will continue to find out after I get home from school. I hope to uncover what the mystery of it is and how it works ect, but at this time I think its down to chance; gamling if you will.

Omg omg alert
make a garden called "pinata people" thous unlocking the credits. on the main menu click on credits and when you are there smash every pinata after you smash every one a lefos alert will pop up saying that lottie was got a new item and blablabla. Then you can delete the pinata people garden cause there is no use for it now. Well go into any garden that you play on an buy what is called the wishing well. well place it in your garden (it is in garden items) and after all that give it money(i usally put in 1k and end you getting 50-100k but you have to be lucky). if you are wonering where ivor beagain is in tip he is at the bottom of the well. beware if you put like 1-100 coins in ivor(a.k.a the well) will give you weed seeds. also when you have enough money put in 9,999 cc and you will get a amber gem witch is used with tinkered red, green, and blue bones to make a chocodocolous thank you for reading

Sorry for going off topic, but if you bought the well from Lottie, doesn't that mean she trapped him down there when she made it? Looks like she doesn't want any competition this time...

And if you get rid of the well, does that mean you bury poor Ivor alive? O_o

i know that's not true... i throw in 9,999 every time in my garden and have received probably 30,000 - 50,000 *almost* every time. perhaps it was also the lanterns of loot i had in the same garden while trying to get my choco bones though.

Yes, it was definitely the lantern. If you want to try it without the lantern, and see if 9,999 coins consistently gives you more than 1,000 coins (without the lantern), that would be a valid comparison.

In the meantime, you're probably wasting 8,999 coins because less would still give you lots.

Ok Pretztail4eva this is how u get the well. Create a new garden named Pinata People (but when you name it make sure you use the n with the ~ above it) then exit the garden and you should be able to view the credits. After viewing the credits enter your normal garden and the well should be in costalots store, and thats how you get the well!

I suppose it's all good for Ivor; he seems to have found Lottie's stash of Chocolate Coins down there. Who else would have that much money just lying about? ;)

I love this thing, a lot less time-consuming than harvesting Orchids or breeding WCs for the market. Although being told to "Mind me bucket!" whilst randomly gardening startles me.
