Tricks...what's the point?

Is there a purpose to the tricks you teach each pinata? Or is it just something else to do? I tried to search the Wiki but I didn't see anything there about tricks.

Tricks make the pinata worth more and you get some achievments.

Theres also one of the minigames you can do with your pinata (The P Factor) that this helps with.

Honestly its something I'm going to do with my favorite pinatas only-- once I get a dragon and don't have to worry about stupid Pester.
