How do you get lots of chocolate coins?

I cant get the chili trick to work like in VP1 does anyone know how to get loads o chocolate coins in VP:TiP yet??

i couldn't get the chili trick to work well this time either. i've been making redhotts like crazy every time a taffly comes in and selling those for 2205 CC each.

I was making a ton of reddhotts at first but then the tafflies stopped coming into my garden as often. (even tho I had all the daisies they need to show up) I've always made a ton by planting orchids as soon as they are available (later on in the game) fertilizing them and selling them as soon as they are grown.

Before that I guess just romance a whole buncha pinatas and sell them.

tafflies need a piece of fruit this time around to become a resident. perhaps that is why they stopped coming for you?

Ya the chil's don't work as well but they still work. it just takes a bit more effort and less planting at once. I haven't mesed w/ the orchids yet because for now I have enough money to get by. (almost a million)

i made a second garden for making money with a lot of water and have been planting and fertilizing bullrush seeds they give you about 80% profit at 1100 per plant and i have about 30-40 growing at the same time, it probably wouldnt work until you get the one-pour wonder though.

I put cactus in the desert part & tulips in the grass. I went from 13,000 to around 170,000. I don't fertilize then either... I plant as many as I can get to fit then sell them when they are fully grown.

You don't need orchids and birds of paradise to make loads off of flowers. I probably made 10,000 CCs with fully fertilized sunflowers and other lower value plants when I needed a mine. Fertilizing pumpkins can also make you lots of money before the big money plants are available.

get the wishing well early , it takes all most zero effort to earn cash . no watering buying selling or protecting of species . you dont need an extra garden . just throw 1000$ in and 99% of the time you get over 2000$ back plus a lot of goodies . the ratio can spike to 4:1 which can get you huge cash stacks in under 30 mins. it takes less than 10 seconds to put the money in and get it back . like a broken slot machine that always pays out .
