My diggerling dug up a bone, and I got Bart to transmute it into a huge dino-skull in which was delivered to me in a crate.
Anyone know what it does ?

If you have 2 different colored bones dug up from underground and then buy one from Costalot, then you're on your way to get the Choclodocus. f you need more information, look on the wiki.
