One way of dealing with weeds

Figured out one strategy for the dandelion infestation I ran into in my starting garden. Dig a moat around the weeds. Then keep digging into their island anywhere there's space. If you keep reducing the surface area they can plant seeds on, you can actually start getting the numbers down. Haven't actually eliminated them yet but it begins to seem possible ;)

Dandelions were not my problem, mine was hemlock. My GOD. I wanted to DIE. I wanted to kill!

But your right. Water. Hack the weeds down, then quickly put the seeds that fall out in the water. Dont try to smash the seeds.

Weedlings didnt even help that much.

Well I just got done with a little "expirement". I put about 20 or so random pinatas in a garden, then set off three weed bombs. Needless to say, things got chaotic. After about 15 minutes, none of the original pinatas were left, though a pair of wild Shellybeans ate some thistles and resided. I then sent Grethcem out to get 14 more, and hired four weedlings. It took about three in-game days for the combined Weedlings and Shellybeans to eliminate everything.

i got rid of my weeds by selling them, sure they end up costing you but they are too much of a pain to hack...

as soon as you spot a weed quickly buy some tiles and lay them down, that way the seeds can't plant into the ground. smash when ready :)
