Would this work? Build a fence around you entire garden and only open the fence to let Willy Builder through? This way, you could keep out Sours and Pester. There would be no gate, you'd just have to delete a wall occasionally as Willy is arriving.

you wouldn't need any pinata to get in. I'd use this is a WC garden to make sure my precious WC's are safe.
