tutorial!!!

well i have 2 questions...first one gonna sound dumb but where is the tutorial located.and second i seem to have alot of trouble capturing a sweetle with a trap..i do use a yam as bait but as soon as i press the button to capture it he just runs off :(

I think the tutorial is when you hit X and speak with the frog(forgot his name)
as far as catching the Sweetle make sure you hit X and go to the frog and buy a trap and place the bait on the trap and you should be all set.

There's no "true" tutorial but there is a "player guide" type system you need to follow the red circles to Langston and he'll guide you through it.

As far as trapping, you need to put down the trap, put the bait on top of the trap, and then just wait. Dont press any buttons, you'll scare the pinata.

can you leave the traps, go back to your main garden and then come back to check later on? Or must you wait until the trap is sprung?
