Ok everybody, I have bought the TiP guide and wanted to know if it is ok to put the information from the guide into the Wiki. I dont know if this violates any legal issues or not.

as long as you dont scan any of the pages, youll be fine. before you start jotting info in the wiki, you might want to get with Jim, he might have plans already for the info.
ANOTHER NOTE: the last guide had error all through it. so you might want to wait until you actually confirm info before making it law.

Anything that looks like original text written just for the guide is not OK to reproduce, but you can always paraphrase things in your own words.
Hard facts (things like the various stats, requirements, tricks, and variants) taken from straight the game are probably more OK, though.

Oh ok then nevermind. I was just going to add all the new species info from the guide into the database and I didnt know if it would violate anything

I've already spotted a few that seemed like errors (for example, something about an arctic pinata needing to have desert terrain, seemed wrong to me, but you never know).

Umm, most of us don't have it. Just sayin'
Next time when I go to Borders, they might have the guide there. If I can I'll buy it and help out too. Also for the Peckanmix I know the candy, if you've ever been to a grocery store that has all these candies in assorted bins that's a Pick N Mix.
