In the wiki it now says there are only 28 new species of pinatas what happened to the 32 that was originally there?

I guess that no one knows about the 4 unknown pinatas, so they put it back to 28 pinatas. Which is just fine.

To understand the answer to this question, you have to appreciate Pinata Math :)

In addition to the 28 new species, we also got 4 new sour species.

I think those count toward the 100 pinatas total in the guide, so they should count there.

I was rather disappointed when I got my guide and saw that indeed, the sours were counting towards the 100. But I suppose it's formatting differences in how the guide and the wiki are set up. In the guide, there's a separate section for sours; on the wiki the sours are discussed on its species page.

I dont think that sours should count towards the 32 pinatas. Once you tame them theres no point to them
