Will I need gold to do online co-op?

Yes, you will. This is standard across the entire collection of Xbox 360 games.

Trading, however, will still only require a Silver account.

You Might Get One Of Those Free 1 Months Gold Subscription To Xbox Live With Viva Pinata: Trouble In Paradise So You Could Use That To Get The Online Acheivements You Need...:) Ask Some Of Your Friends If They Have Got Any Spare 1 Months Gold Memberships Because You Get Them With Quite A Few Games Now. Hope This Helps :D

At GAME.com If You Pre-Order VP:TIP You Also Get 10 Free Exclusive Pinata Cards So It Would Be Intresting To See What They Are But I Can't Pre-order Games Of The Website For Some Strange Reason.. Wonder If The Cards Are Going To Be Those Exclusive Ones From The VP:TIP Team Members? Either Way There Going To Be Worth Keeping. And also, I didn't have a live vision camera, and when I was shopping yesterday I picked one up. It comes with a month free of a gold membership trial. If you haven't picked up the camera and can (my justification was that it works with my mac haha), but don't want to pay for gold, that might be a way to get around it. I'm not going to even bother with gold for a while, internet at school is way to unstable to spend the money.
