This isn't really in the wrong place that much, this thread is about the classic and the new version. Anyway if you want my advice I wouldn't bother getting it only because the new one only comes out in almost a months time so I wouldn't waste your money if I were you.

It isn't that much of a rip off. Now Viva Pinata is like $19.99 almost everywhere so you could get that now or get it later. My advice, get Viva Pinata 2 and see if you like that. If you enjoy it, then get Classic. But I personally think you should get VP first, so then you'll see what happens first, and then get VP2 as being a sequel should be played second.

I agree, but i thought VP2 had the same stuff in it plus more...if its just for the story, why not just look up the plot?

OK that makes no sense, the second one is the first one with new features objects and pinatas. If you never played either, buy/rent the first one to see if you like and then get the second one, not waste $60 on a game you might not even like because you never played the first one

Sorry, I geuss I was daydreaming and put VP2 first. My advice is the same as before only switch the Viva Pinata 2 and Classic around. Sorry VPplaya if you got confused.

Id definitely get the classic game first so you definitely know you like the game before spending more on VP:TiP. Its a really good game so you wont be dissapointed but just to make sure you no.
