You read it here first: Trouble in Paradise will support four player online co-op!
Via Xbox LIVE, up to four players can team up and experience the joys of Piñata Island together, or you can contact other gamers to trade items as well as piñatas. Invite your friends to your garden to compete against them in races, golf and other events — winners will receive coveted placement on the Piñata Leaderboards.

This is good but my only concern is that people you meet online may kill your pinatas and wreck your garden!
also can you still do this with a silver account?

Well, the thing with your Pinatas getting smashed only invite people that you trust
About the Silver I'd say no but I might be wrong but I don't think Microsoft would like it if it was lol
We can always hope they will give us a 1 month Gold like they did with GTA

actually, the garden owner can give their guests one of 3 permission levels:
No permissions: You can only look around but not interact with anything
Limited permissions: You can work in the garden but not perform any harmful actions like smashing tame pinatas, selling stuff or sending off crates with swag
Full permissions: Allows the guests to do anything in the garden they could do in their own. The only thing they still can't do is get rid of WCs
so you can still have random people visiting without needing to worry about your garden's safety :)

Mine would always be on Limited Permissions, because i know what the world of xbox live holds, Noobs and <removed> being two main parts

for good measure, guests who are not on your friends list default to No Permissions when they join your garden, whereas your friends get Limited Permissions. you can adjust those at any time while you're in the garden, too.

Um... so you can have randomers join your game? lol also can you set your Garden to Invite only? :)

yes and yes. it's like playing any other game on xbox live really - if you don't want strangers to visit your garden, you can just set all free slots to friend slots.
personally, I can't wait to randomly join a few games to see how other players style their garden paradise ;)

Yeah, it seems cool I mean when I want to just play with a friend then we dont have to have randomers join :)
I'm sure alot of people will love it since they wanted to show friends the gardens they made(In VP1) and stuff. Also it will let the Viva Pinata Community Interact more and mostlikely help it grow since most people play Xbox for Live to mess about with there friends. So, yeah Awesome Job! This game just gets better and better as the days go on and waiting 51 days in the icing on the cake! :p

Well at least there will be a lot of gardens to visit by Christmas as everyone will have had a couple of months to get their gardens in order and in a state they'd be happy to share them with visitors.

This is by far the biggest thing that I will be looking forward to in VP:TIP. My nephew and I love VP and still play it. It used to be that he'd have to wait for me to come visit on weekends to show me what he's done to his garden. Of course I'd hear about it on the phone all week, too ;) Now we can just go online and visit each other's garden. Thanks so much for adding this. Can't wait for Sept 2.
